AEI Outlooks and E-newsletters
 

AEI provides an array of paper and electronic products to keep you updated on scholars' research. These provide a look at AEI scholars' commentary on current issues. Subscribe to an Outlook or an e-newsletter today by visiting the "Mailing Preferences" page in your account information, which you can get to by logging in and clicking on My AEI.org. If you are having difficulty locating the "Mailing Preferences" page, please follow our troubleshooting instructions in the section below.

AEI's Outlook series is a collection of analytical essays devoted to a discussion of key public policy issues on a variety of research areas. You can find a list of all our Outlooks here. To receive e-mail copies of Outlook releases in the area of your choice, please follow the instructions in the section below.

In addition to the Outlook series, AEI also offers e-newsletters to keep you updated on our work:

  • AEI Today and AEI Today Mobile Edition
    This is a daily e-mail notification of recent publications and events, upcoming events, and media appearances by AEI scholars and fellows. The AEI Today Mobile Edition is specially formatted for handheld or portable devices.
  • AEI People and Programs
    This is a biweekly run-down of upcoming events, scholar and program updates, and Institute news.
  • Academics and AEI
    This is an e-newsletter from designed to keep you informed about what academics are doing with AEI and new, scholarly work by AEI fellows.
  • Event Invitations
    This is a weekly listing of upcoming events. AEI hosts more than 200 events a year, including conferences on public policy issues, roundtable discussions on current policy debates, and book fora.
  • Policy Updates
    In addition to daily and bi-weekly updates provided in AEI Today and AEI People and Programs, the Institute also offers a set of quarterly Policy Updates on various research areas. These Updates highlight current research, publications, and events that AEI has recently produced. You can subscribe to Updates such as the Fiscal Policy Update, Education Policy Update, Defense Policy Update, and more.

Subscribe to an Outlook or E-newsletter


To register for any of these products, please follow these steps:

  • Visit My AEI.org. If you have not yet created an account, click here to register for one. Once you are already logged in, simply look for the My AEI.org link under the Search button at the top of every page.


  • In the right-hand menu that appears, click on "Mailing Preferences" under "My Account." Alternately, you can also click on the "Manage Profile" link which is located at the footer of the page. Note that this link is only visible if you are logged in.


  • In the "Mailing Preferences" section of your account, select the mailings you would like to receive. Click on the button at the bottom that says "Save changes to profile" to finalize your subscriptions.

How to Unsubscribe


To unsubscribe to any Outlook or e-newsletter you are receiving, follow the same steps to get to your "Mailing Preferences" page, and uncheck the e-newsletters you wish to stop receiving. If you are encountering any difficulties unsubscribing to any e-newsletter, please e-mail InfoUpdate@aei.org.
