Human Accomplishment
By Charles Murray
HarperCollins, 668 pages, $29.95 Review excerpt:
That Murray's conclusions will be utterly familiar to most readers does not make them wrong, but, along with his insistent focus on statistics, they do make his book, with its 458 pages (not counting five appendixes, a bibliography and notes), a rather numbing thing to get to the end of.
