September 30, 2012, marks one year since U.S.-born terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki was killed by an airstrike in Yemen. Despite al-Awlaki's death, Osama bin Laden's removal and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed's imprisonment, a deep pool of leaders has emerged to run al Qaeda operations from Yemen. The following individuals are the face of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.
