About This Event

AEI presents "Economy Watch"--an essential up-to-the-minute briefing on the current economic policy debate and the state of the economy, bringing together AEI’s team of economists, analysts, and special guests.

Participants in this breakfast event include R. Glenn Hubbard, former chairman of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers and now AEI visiting scholar; Michael Prell, former director of the Division of Research and Statistics at the Federal Reserve Board; and Eric M. Engen and Kevin A. Hassett, both AEI resident scholars. Panelists will discuss the likely impact on the economy of a war against Iraq and the effect of this war on monetary and fiscal policy.
