Republican Presidential Debate

The American Enterprise Institute, in partnership with CNN and The Heritage Foundation, is pleased to announce that the Republican presidential debate on national security and foreign policy will take place on Tuesday, November 22, at 8 p.m. ET.

The president of the United States and commander in chief holds an awesome power over the blood and treasure of the American people. But those vying to challenge President Barack Obama in 2012 have revealed little about their views on national security in GOP presidential debates thus far. The nation is consumed with economic problems, yet a national security crisis can shift our priorities in a single moment.

It's time to find out how the men and women who would be president will perform when that crisis hits.

The national security debate, a landmark first for AEI and Heritage, will air nationally on CNN and CNN en Español and worldwide on CNN International, CNN Radio and CNN.com.
