On July 6, AEI will host President Mikhail Saakashvili of Georgia for his only public address in Washington, D.C. The president will discuss Georgia’s efforts to join NATO, as well as energy security, Georgia’s deployment of troops to Iraq, relations with Russia, and U.S.-Georgian relations.
