Directions to AEI

The collapse of the World Trade Organization’s (WTO) Doha round of trade negotiations has raised important questions about the future of the WTO as an organization, the future of multilateral trade rounds, the place of trade in the development agenda, and the fragmentation of trade through bilateral and regional free trade agreements. Preceding remarks by U.S. Trade Representative Susan C. Schwab, a distinguished panel of trade experts will give their analysis and judgment about the future of the world trading system in the global economy.
