| The Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee is a group of publicly recognized, independent experts on the financial services industry, including banking, insurance, and securities. The Shadow committee meets regularly to study and critique regulatory policies affecting the financial sector of the economy. This briefing will highlight the fallout from the cases of Enron and Andersen, terrorism insurance, the Basel operational risk program, proposed legislation requiring SEC registration and disclosure for government sponsored enterprises. |
