This is the first event of the Road to War . . . and Beyond weekly series. Briefings will take place every Tuesdays from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Topics under discussion will include: How will we get to Baghdad? What menaces will American soldiers face? Can we count on Turkey's new Islamist government? Does the United States have a plan for a better Iraq after Saddam? Among the speakers will be AEI resident fellow and public opinion expert Karlyn H. Bowman; AEI resident fellow and defense expert Thomas Donnelly who will explain how a war against Iraq should be fought; Gary Milhollin an expert on the Iraqi weapons programs who is Director of the Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms Control; AEI resident fellow Richard Perle who will talk about NATO; and AEI's Danielle Pletka, who will moderate the panel.
