While it has often been noted that the "root cause" of terrorism is the problem of failed regional governance rather than specific issues or grievances, a senior U.S. administration official recently observed that the current war on terrorism will be won not only on a military battlefield but also on the battlefield of ideas.
To discuss these issues, as well as the structure for a robust long-term alliance and the principles to guide the war effort, AEI is pleased to announce a panel discussion hosted by AEI scholar Richard N.
