On January 30, Iraqis will head to the polls for their first free elections in half a century. But in many ways, the elections mark the end of the beginning rather than the beginning of the end. What can we expect next in Iraqi politics and the constitutional process? What demands will the Iraqi Transitional Government make upon the United States military? AEI scholars Danielle Pletka, Reuel Marc Gerecht, and Michael Rubin will comment on these and other topics on the eve of the election.
