Wohlstetter Conference Center, Twelfth Floor, AEI 1150 Seventeenth Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20036 Directions to AEI
The resounding "no" votes in the recent Dutch and French constitutional referendums has called Europe’s reform agenda and economic growth prospects into serious question. It has also caused the Euro to lose its relative appeal in financial markets.
This conference will focus on what Europe needs to do to restore luster to its tarnished currency and to make Europe more of an optimal currency area. It will also explore the Euro's possible future role as an international reserve currency and the scope for further Euro-zone enlargement.
