Job Opportunities

The American Enterprise Institute offers a stimulating and harmonious work environment, competitive salaries, and excellent benefits. The Institute has been featured as one of Washingtonian magazine's fifty-five great places to work.

Employment opportunities consist of research and staff assistant positions in the six research areas of the Institute. In addition, staff vacancies also occur in our development, seminars and conferences, publications, marketing, accounting, public relations, and publications departments.

Fellowships are available through the Institute's National Research Initiative. In addition to paid employment, approximately fifty to sixty internship opportunities are available in the fall, winter, and summer at AEI.

To apply, simply click on "Current Vacancies" below to view job opportunities which you can apply for. All applications are processed through our online application system. One application is sufficient for multiple positions. Please click the link below to submit an application to the Director of Human Resources.

Note to Mac users: Please use Mozilla Firefox instead of Safari to submit a job application correctly. Also, please upload any Word files with the traditional .doc extension instead of the new .docx.
