AEI Iraq Report: "Choosing Victory: A Plan for Success in Iraq"

On December 14, 2006, AEI scholar Frederick W. Kagan and former acting Army chief of staff General Jack Keane released Choosing Victory: A Plan for Success in Iraq. This interim report outlines how the United States can win in Iraq and reinforces the idea that victory is the only acceptable outcome. Directed by Kagan, Choosing Victory: A Plan for Success in Iraq was written in consultation with General Keane and other military and regional experts such as former Afghanistan coalition commander Lieutenant General David Barno and other officers involved with the successful operations of the Third Armored Cavalry Regiment in Tal Afar.

AEI resident scholar Fred Kagan can be contacted at fkagan@aei.org or through his assistant at 202.862.5929.
