Analysis: IAEA report shows Iran closer to bomb

"Iran’s continued production of enriched uranium and its significant, unexpected expansion of the buried enrichment facility at Fordow in the last three months will further reduce the time the regime would need to produce nuclear weapons fuel. These advances demonstrate that various policy declarations, negotiations, and increasing sanctions have not halted Iran’s illicit nuclear work and its progress toward a faster breakout capability." -- Maseh Zarif, AEI

American Enterprise Institute (AEI) Critical Threats Project Iran team lead Maseh Zarif assesses the just-released IAEA report on Iran's nuclear weapons progress.  Read Maseh's full 'quick take' on the IAEA report here.  An in-depth report will be published later this week at www.irantracker.org.  His new report on the Parchin facility can be found here
