The Brief of Amici Curiae Climate Scientists David Battisti, et al., in Support of Petitioners (“CS Brief”) is founded upon the unsupported notion that the net effect of increasing greenhouse gases on human health and welfare is negative. It argues that greenhouse gas emissions “may reasonably be anticipated to endanger public health or welfare,” requiring “prompt regulatory action to restrain emissions of greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act.”
