The Pentagon has just released the Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR), the crucial strategy document that seeks to reshape the American way of war. From the continuing conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan to the rise of China, the QDR examines a range of threats and challenges confronting U.S. defense policy and proposes a raft of changes in the ways the military will work for years to come.
Among the AEI scholars available to comment on the new QDR are:
