On Sunday, September 13 and Monday, September 14, members of the Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee (SFRC) met in two closed sessions to discuss, among other things, strengthening the resiliency of money market mutual funds, regulatory initiatives of the Securities and Exchange Commission, reducing interference with accounting standards, devising securities to price moral hazard, and the proposed Consumer Financial Protection Agency.
At the luncheon press briefing that followed these sessions, SFRC members issued four statements and answered questions relating to the topics discussed. Video and audio of the event are available at the event page.
