The most recent workshop, held on February 8, 2008, featured presentations designed to address the issue of nationalism in the context of China’s global ambition, its multiethnic empire, and its domestic political culture.

The project has commissioned a series of papers intended to highlight important aspects of civic culture in contemporary China.
