Visiting Scholar Gary R. Saxonhouse
The late Gary R. Saxonhouse did research on the Japanese economy, East Asian economic relations, international economic relations and trade, and the impact of technology on global economic growth. While at AEI, Saxonhouse was on leave from the University of Michigan where he was a professor of economics. Professor Saxonhouse was a senior staff economist at the President's Council of Economic Advisers and has taught at Brown, Harvard and Yale.
