Research fellow Aparna Mathur conducts research on health policy issues, especially the impact of high health care costs on consumer bankruptcy filings, as well as tax policy. She is also interested in assessing the impact of health insurance mandates on small firms and studying the effect of foreign direct investment on developing economies. Her fields of specialization are applied microeconomics, international finance, and econometrics.
