Hayward studies the environment, law, political economy, and the presidency. He is the coauthor of the annual Index of Leading Environmental Indicators, and writes AEI's Environmental Policy Outlook. Hayward recently produced and hosted An Inconvenient Truth . . . or Convenient Fiction? a rebuttal to Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth.
