Joseph J. and Violet Jacobs Scholar Douglas J. Besharov
Besharov is director of AEI's Social and Individual Responsibility Project. He is a lawyer and former director of the U.S. Center on Child Abuse and Neglect. Besharov also teaches at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy.
