That the Iranian military more broadly, and the LEF specifically, are flying drones and utilizing them to conduct surveillance and security during the Arba’in religious festivities, when large numbers of Iranian pilgrims travel to Iraq, suggests their capabilities are to a large extent real and that they are becoming a normal tool in the Iranian security forces’ toolbox.
