WASHINGTON, DC (May 8, 2015) – On Tuesday, May 12, AEI President Arthur Brooks will participate in a discussion with President Barack Obama and Robert Putnam, professor of public policy at the Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government at the Catholic-Evangelical Leadership Summit on Overcoming Poverty at Georgetown University. The discussion will be moderated by E.J. Dionne, Jr., Washington Post columnist and professor in Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy.

The Catholic-Evangelical Leadership Summit on Overcoming Poverty will bring together Catholic, evangelical and other national leaders from across the political spectrum to discuss strategies for working together to overcome poverty and increase opportunity in the United States. The summit aims to make overcoming U.S. poverty a moral imperative and urgent national priority.
